Sexy, shmexy
Mar. 9th, 2009 08:22 pmI've noticed that a few different groups of people (judging by the quality/format of the stickers they're using) have started selectively vandalising (or commenting on, if you view it through a web 2.0 lens) the recent spate of adverts in tube stations for cosmetic surgery. I heartily approve of this concept... the first ones I saw said something like "You are beautiful - this is not", which I thought put their point across fairly well.
Yesterday I noticed some that maybe didn't put their point across quite so successfully... they'd made stickers which I can only assume were meant to read SEXIST SHITE, but in fact they made a slight spelling error, and so their stickers, plastered over a photo of a fairly attractive naked woman, say SEXIEST SHITE. Which is a bit confusing on first glance... and second and third glance, actually.
