Arphield recordings: SOUND/JAM MEMORIAL Stockwell Tube Station Sat 10 June
14:00 pm sharp

On Saturday 10th of June 2006 people in London are invited to take part in what is thought to be the first ever mass oyster beeping ever staged in a London tube station.

People are invited to gather in the Stockwell tube station and scan their oyster card for 30second periods accompanied by a podcast of pre-recorded oyster beep tracks. Rapid dispersion expected thereafter.
I'm quite tempted.

Er sounds like fun, if I knew what an oyster card was and what it's " beep " sounded like ?

I think it is some sort of all-zones-travelcard type thingy or something - saw an ad on TV last night.

can't comment on the beep though.

The beep sounds like a PC going beep when it boots up, just a single electronic 'beep' noise.

Yep, I wanted to go to that, but work unfortunately gets in the way, yet again.
