The company I work for is looking for a Perl Developer:
http://www.fsite.com/Jobs/43

Key skills required are Perl, SQL, HTML, Linux sysadmin, Javascript (DOM/AJAX/etc), in that order. Experience with templating systems and application frameworks an advantage, as we use a slightly odd in-house system that you'd be expected to pick up fairly quickly. Our office is in Wimbledon (SW19), working from home is allowed occasionally but not the norm.

It's a cool/friendly place to work, with a range of clients/work from the fairly interesting to the predictably tedious. They seem to be seeking a senior developer/team leader kind of person (if they can find one at that money), so you might end up partially responsible for me, haha. Don't let that put you off though ;)

You can either send a CV through me, or direct to the address in the advert. Obviously if I know you and know you'd be well suited for the role, or you can get someone I know and trust to vouch for the same, then put your CV through me and it will get a place near the top of the pile to start with.

There's also a possibility that we'll be hiring a junior developer to do front-end stuff sometime in the next few months... this would mean a lot of HTML/templating work, with some javascript for validation and stuff. If you know anyone who might be interested in a junior role of that type, I'd like to hear from them with a CV and an idea of expected salary (you'll notice I used the word junior twice - at least initially this will not be a particularly well paid role), so my colleagues and I can start pushing the idea with my boss - the role is actually needed, but not yet officially agreed to :)

As a footnote, both roles carry a high possibility that you would be CRB checked, as our company is providing a website to a large quasi-governmental organisation which deals with data for young girls and they insist that everyone working on the project gets CRB checked. If you've got reason to believe that they wouldn't like your criminal record, you probably shouldn't apply for a job here. (I've got a conviction for driving without insurance and related stupidity, they're not bothered about that kind of thing)
