Major fuel depot explodes in Hemel Hempstead

From about 1979 to 1982 I lived at the point indicated by the blue arrow.

For most of 1996 I worked at the point indicated by the red arrow.

I know those were both a long time ago, but it's still a bit odd seeing it on a map.

Current Mood: shocked

Friday, another lazy day off work... I think the most eventful thing that happened was wandering across the road to Boots and buying a new electric shaver. I've already decided that I don't like it, but as I only shave once or twice a week I don't suppose it matters that much.

Saturday daytime, met

olithered and

aiwendel in Camden. Managed to lead them to an impressive one of their three or four stated goals, and completely forget to do the two things I needed to do myself :) Was nice to see them though, need to catch up with them again with a bit more time spare really.

Saturday night, TG. Had a reasonably good night, although not one of the best. Did manage to meet

fayroberts, which was cool.

Sunday. Bit confusing initially, but worked out okay in the end. I think. I hope.

And now, I think I'll cook some pasta and then head to bed... the weekdays loom close again, bah.
